Fingerprinting after submitting the visa application
For example, to convert your tourist visa to a study visa, you must be accepted by one of the Canadian universities and then apply for a Canadian study visa.
After obtaining a Canadian study visa or work visa, you start studying or working, and after finishing your studies or after the first year of work, you can apply for permanent residence in Canada.
The advantage of converting a tourist visa to a study visa or a Canadian work visa is that after obtaining one of these types of visas, your child can study in Canadian public schools for free.
How long does it take to issue a visa?
The answer to this question is relative. Depending on the conditions of the Canadian embassy, this time lasts from 2 weeks to 6 months. There have even been cases that took more than a year to review.
In certain circumstances, such as the epidemic of the Covid-19 disease, the process of evaluating Canadian study visa cases was slow. But sometimes the cases may be reviewed and evaluated quickly. It all depends on the conditions of the Canadian embassy and the completeness of your case.
Pay attention to the fact that the duration of issuing a Canadian student visa is calculated after fingerprinting.
Canadian student visa fee
The cost of applying for a Canadian teaching permit is $150
The cost of accompanying student visa is $100

Studying as a student in Canada
Education in Canadian schools usually starts at the age of 5 and continues until the age of 18. Education levels in Canadian schools include elementary, middle and high school. Of course, in some schools, middle and high school levels have been merged together and include grades 6 to 12.
In Canadian schools, in high school, students must take a set of courses in each grade. Consider the situation that your child studied the 10th grade in Iran and now plans to get admission for the 11th grade in Canada. After applying to the school, the result of his application may be a little shocking and the school will re-admit him to 10th grade. You may ask why?
The reason is that a series of subjects that are in the 10th grade curriculum in Canada are not in the 10th grade curriculum in Iran, and therefore your child must study the 10th grade in Canada again to cover the required subjects for this grade.
Canadian student visa statistics
The Canadian government issues a number of student visas every year, some of which include visas for Iranian students. Of course, it should be noted that this type of visa has less statistics than other study visas in university degrees.
