Immigrate to Canada through the Yukon Provincial Program (YNP)
The province of Yukon, located in the northwest of Canada, has a legendary place in the country’s history. The population of the Yukon is currently approximately 30,000 people, most of whom live in the capital of the province, the city of Whitehorse. The main economic factor of this province is mining and tourism. This area is an ideal place to stay for people who value strong communities and the great outdoors.
The Yukon Choice Program (YNP) is the Yukon Provincial Immigration Program.
The YNP program consists of the following programs:
- Yukon Express Entry (YEE)
- Skilled Worker
- Critical Impact Worker
- Selection through business (Business Nominee)
Yukon Express Entry (YEE)
The YNP Express Entry program has increased the overall quota of the YNP program by introducing an advanced selection program in the Express Entry immigration system. Yukon employers who cannot use Canadian citizens or permanent residents to fill specialized job positions now have access to IRCC’s volunteer database. YEE applicants are selected from the Express Entry database based on selections made for holding permanent full-time job offers from an eligible Yukon employer.
Expert force
This program allows Yukon employers to sponsor foreign professionals to obtain permanent Canadian residency. Employers can sponsor applicants who work in one of the 0, A or B level occupations available in the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
The workforce has a vital impact
This program helps employers to sponsor the migration of workers who have work experience in one of the semi-specialized or non-specialized jobs with high demand for the region. Sponsored applicants must receive a job offer from one of Yukon’s employers; However, there is no requirement that they be present in the Yukon at the time of application.
Choice through business
This program is for people who have a proven business history and want to start a new business, cooperate with one of the existing businesses, or buy and start one of the existing businesses. Applicants must be prepared to make a significant investment based on their business in the Yukon.
